This is a wedding with so much details and friendship. A wedding is never about the couple only. Thanks to Emily and Joseph’s arrangement, and lots of help from the bridal party.
I remembered when I finished the morning procedures and was waiting the bride to change to gown, I asked Ann to go to the ceremony venue for some photos. And once she was there, she called me. I was worried if there was something wrong, yet she just urged me to go there and said I cannot miss it. When I finally got there, what first came to my mind was “OMG!” This is my dream garden wedding! Every details I was in love. This wedding also got lots others “OMG!” – the hand tied bouquet by Celeste and the boat party at The Bounty. And I love the energetic bridesmaids and groomsmen sooooo much!
What a pinterest-worthy wedding! Love!

This was an unusual wedding – no Chinese tradition (just ceremony and party dinner), no white wedding gown (a grey one instead), and the couple was not normal people (they are the faculty from my university)!!! Plus, it was Halloween!!!!!
Something even more shocked was that the bride lately recognized the venue wasn’t the one she hoped to book. (Although this didn’t affect me, I was too shocked.)
This was almost a free-style wedding! Other than the ceremony rundown which was straight forward, everything else was relaxing, like a party with family and friends.
The funniest part was the 2nd half of the day – the Halloween banquet. Many guests dressed up in awesome costumes which made me felt like I was in Lan Kwai Fong parties! Personally I loved the Chinese vampire family most. The couple, Kayo and Derek also changed their costumes and makeup for sure and they became the Western vampire couple. Are you expecting only the young generation enjoyed Halloween? No!! I can tell the parents were also sooooooo excited!
Thank you Kayo and Derek for such a wonderful Halloween wedding 🙂

One from Brazil and one from Hong Kong – its distance is 18,274km! Maybe it’s already half of the earth! The fate brings two of them together, and finally they are married.
Wedding in summer was really hot, and the ceremony made me so agitated. This is one of the most touching wedding I’ve ever been. Speeches by family and friends were so touching, especially when Cherry’s dad said he was passing her beloved daughter to a younger and stronger man, that almost made everyone cried! Please don’t miss the video highlight below!!
Also how Roberio looked at Cherry was surprising unforgettable. He gave up so many things to come to Hong Kong alone – only for his love. You can see he had no regrets and he really loves Cherry. Wish them live for happily ever afters 🙂

早前我挑了三位客戶朋友作白老鼠 😛 她們收到禮物都很高興啊！其中一位事前還毫不知曉，更是驚喜！現在就來拆解這份小禮物包含甚麼：
Today I would like to introduce the little gift in our new packages!
As I am totally not really famous, it’s a fate that clients could find me, and I even become friends with some of them – I feel really thankful. With this little gift, I thank them for appreciation and support.
A while ago I picked 3 clients for a trial 😛 Glad that they were excited to receive the gifts, and one of them is really surprised as she did not know she would get a mail from me! Let’s see what’s inside:

Who would you miss most before you get married? Probably your dear mother. This set of photos is unusual with normal engagement photos, because we have mother and daughter only.
When I knew Emily, I planned to do an engagement demo shoot, as for my practice. Yet unbelievably she did 4, 5 engagement sessions already! So she invited me to take something special.
“Could you take photos of my mother and I?”
“Yeah why not? I can try.”
“But what will the photos look like?”
“Um, you can consider it as a closer family portrait, or no-kissing wedding photo.”
End up I guess the photos matched the description above. Wedding photos are sweet, while family portraits are intimate, and mother-daughter portraits are sweet and intimate. I also saw the missing-daughter emotion, for her red eyes when we just started the shoot.
Marriage will not break the monther-daughter knot, so don’t be sad :’)

Can’t believe my photos could be featured on Simply Peachy!
Since I get into wedding photography industry, I heard about them long ago. I heard the host left Hong Kong while I just knew them… maybe that’s why they never reply my email. Suddenly one day I got an email from them, not only answering my inquiry, but also asking my work for feature!!!

Truly thanks Maggie & Wesley for this engagement session. I will write another article about this shoot later. Stay tuned!
